Ireland has a wealth of history and ideal spot for hiking and cycling

adventures, there are routes and pathways spanning across all of Ireland so

just pick a route and go. The West Clare Cycle way is 70km long and

signposted along the route. It starts from Killimer on the Shannon Estuary

and continues until Lahinch in County Clare. Surfing is popular along the

coast especially around, County Donegal where waves here play host to the

Irish National Championships each spring. Along this coastline there are at

least six or seven excellent spots for both beginners and advanced surfers.

Accommodation in Ireland is plentiful, a selection of bed and breakfasts, and

hotels are jotted all over the island both coastal and inland. A visit to the busy

market town of Skibbereen in County Cork would not be complete without a

stay at the Bridge House; the owner here has transformed the entire house

into a work of art, furnishing the rooms with late Victorian tableaux and

memorabilia. The place is packed with interesting clutter and you are

welcomed as you first set foot in the door.

Eating out in Ireland is great a wealth of bars and restaurant litter the streets and

villages, playing home for the locals. The offerings are normal seasonal dishes and

come packed with hearty goodness that will entice you back. You will be struck by

a playful atmosphere often hosted by the locals themselves, bringing their own

instruments and laughter to get the party in full swing.

Your overseas adventure travel trip will not be complete until you have a taste of

liquid gold, or Guinness voted the best pint in Ireland.
