I’ve been using the iPhone since the first version, and have always been amazed at how each person’s iPhone is really completely different to the next, because everyone downloads the apps based on their interests, hobbies and often careers.

The same applies to the accessories you can get for iPhones. Whether you are a Pilot, a budding Photographer, a Runner or an IT Geek , there is an accessory to fit your needs (well some of you might fall into all those categories at the same time)

6 Best iPhone Photography AccessoriesThere are more and more people who use the iPhone as their main camera especially when travelling and although the iPhone has an amazing quality photo and videos that is produces there is a bunch of great accessories to make the life easier for you when taking lots of photo’s.

I’ve personally tested and used most of these and can highly recommend them.

1: iPhone Macro Lens

Very simple but effective product: An elastic band with a built in Macro lens. Only problem is they run out of stock every often. So as an alternative

The Macro Lens is used to give you extreme closeups of small objects such as flowers or insects and still have great quality pictures

2: iPhone Tripod Connector - GorillaMobile

The Joby Gorillapod was the first Tripod for normal camera’s that was so versatile you could wrap it around anything.With GorillaMobile Joby has brought that same freedom to the iphone. My only issue I has with it was that you needed to carry the special case around with you. It is however the most stable of all the options.

3: iPhone Tripod Connector - Gliff

This iPhone Tripod Mount called the Gliff was started as a Kickstarter project, meaning they had to pitch their idea to the world and get funding by donation for it to get going, and did it take off.

I personally use this connector with the Tripod from GorillaCam (You can also get the GorillaPod alone)

After their humble beginnings they have now spread this little sucker everywhere. Check out the Video.

4: iPhone SLR Lens connector OWLE Bubo

OWLE Bubo is a professional photography accessory for the iPhone. It transforms your iphone into a SLR cam-era by adding a full-size lens, external microphone as well as four tripod mount points. It also gives the possi-bility of adding external lights.

Cost: $169.95 for iPhone 4, $159.95 for 3G/3GS

This is one of the priciest iPhone photography accessories but if you can afford it is a travelling photographers dream!

5: iPhone Telephoto Lens (Eye Scope)

There are a couple of iPhone Telescopic or telephoto lens kits available that allows up to 8x zoom and is great for carrying around in your pocket. My favorite is Eye Scope.

The Tripod isn’t great though since it doesn’t extend, but I’m sure there will be some more at the link above soon with better tripods.

Using their free App (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zoomit/id343057034?mt=8&uo=4)this dock connector accessory is very clever and allows the use of SD memory cards with your iPhone.

What this means is if you took photo’s with a much more expensive camera, but want to quickly send it to facebook while you’re out and about, it lets you view and share all of your pictures directly from your SD cards.

No need to connect your iPhone or Camera to a PC or Mac computer. on the go without the need to connect to your camera, Mac or PC. It’s price is quite high, but if you can get your hands on one it’s worth it!

Conclusion

The iPhone is a multi-function device with great possibilities but don’t be limited only by what is provided by default.

You can accessorize your iPhone to suit your exact needs.
