Android Inc was foundedin Palo Alto of California, U.S. by Andy Rubin, Rich miner, Nick searsand Chris White in 2003. Later Android Inc. was acquired by Googlein 2005. After original release there have been number of updates inthe original version of Android.

Android comes with an Android market which is an online software store. It was developedby Google. It allows Android users to select, and download applications developed by thirdparty developers and use them. How to get connected to Ethernet?How to get connected to Ethernet?

Step 1- Press the Power button

On doing step 1 & 2

Step 2- Press the Source Button

You get the belowon screen

Step 3- Press the down button till you get internet on source page (see pic).Press an ok

On TV display after doing step1,2& 3

Step 4-When Ok button is pressed , you get the interface page . Go to setting

On TV display after pressing OK

Step 5 – In setting go to welcome set up and press ok on remote(see Image below)

Step 6 – When the ok is entered in step 5..you get the below image on screen.AgainPress ok.

Step 7 – When the ok is entered in step 6..you get the below image on screen . Again Press ok.

Step 8 – When the ok is entered in step 7..you get the below image on screen . Again Press ok a nd select English as your preferred language.

Step 9 – When the ok is entered in step 8 ..you get the below image on screen . Again Press ok and select Ethernet Network(LAN) as your preferred network connection.If the connection is DHCP(Dynamic Host configuration protocol you get a messageOn screen that its connected . If the connection is not DHCP one has to set manuallyWhich is going to the next step .Press an ok and go to next step

Step 10 – When the ok is entered in step 9..you get the below image on screen. Enter The IP address, sub net mask, DNS server & default gateway and then press Done.

Step 11 – When the ok is entered in step 10..you get the below image on screen.(A). SelectTime Zone and enter OK. You get as complete status as shown in screen B

Step 12 – The Ethernet is connected. On the interface page you get the below symbolAs shown below….You can start surfing now

Insert The Dongle in the top 2 slots(either of them).Please do not insert it in The bottom slot and follow the steps explained after these slides

Step 1- Press the Power button

On doing step 1 & 2

Step 2- Press the Source Button

Step 10 – When the ok is entered in step 9 ..you get the below image on screen . Again Press ok and select Add Wi Fi as your preferred network connection.When you do that you get the various network names. Select your network and start.

Step 12 – The Wi FI is connected. On the interface page you get the below symbolAs shown below….You can start surfing now
