Proposal Subjects: The subjects in my pictures will be the participants. It will be against a tree or pictures merged of my participant and trees. I have never attempted to merge pictures before so it will take a bit of practice to get it how I want it. I think it might be hard doing it for first time when I am doing it myself, in case the first pictures I take don’t come out very good when I merge them on Photoshop. Locations: For my locations I will need somewhere with a plain white wall and then somewhere with greenery, such as trees and plants. I think I will do it in Pocklington as I am there a lot and am able to do it with people who are willing to help me. I would also like to do one with a person merged in with a busy city road, but I think this will be hard to do considering where I live to get a birds eye view of a road. I would like to be able to do one in the dark and make it black and white and one during the day time to make it in colour. Techniques: The technique I will be using is double exposure. I am going to take several photographs and of a person in a place with lots of trees. I am going to try and make one in particular of someone stood in front of the tree trunk. I also want to do one with a person’s face, with half of it being forestry. The pictures that I take need to be merged and edited so I need to do this on Photoshop. Once Photoshop is opened you put the images on and change the overlay to different effects, you can also change the hue and saturation, and make them black

Subjects:The subjects in my pictures will be the participants.

Locations:For my locations I will need somewhere with a plain white wall and then somewhere with greenery, such as trees and plants.

Techniques:The technique I will be using is double exposure. Once Photoshop is opened you put the images on and change the overlay to different effects, you can also change the hue and saturation, and make them black and white. For a different effect, you can change the opacity too.

Reasoning:I have been looking at Christoffer Relander’s photography of double exposure pictures. I like his because he has ones of trees in, just like what I want to do. Out of all of the experimental photographs I have researched, I have chosen to attempt to do double exposure, as I like the idea of them best.
