The Congressional Black Caucus is an organization representing the black members of the United states
Congress. The Caucus wanted to re-design their monthly newsletter to have a newspaper like feel. They
also wanted their online version to contain interactive links that makes page navigation easier for their readers.
03 CoWABUNgA ICe CReAM | logo + Media Kit
Cowabunga Ice Cream is a luxury, designer ice cream
company that recently entered the market. The logo
and media kit were focused on creating a clean,
minimal design to accompany the brand. In designing
the logo, an ease for future packaging design was a
consideration. The media kit needed to be something
that high end retailers could identify with while fitting
their brand.
04 NATIoNAl BAR AssoCIATIoN | 2010 Annual Report
Founded in 1925, the National Bar Association (NBA)
is the nation’s oldest and largest association of Afri-
can American lawyers and judges. Annual reports are
intended to give shareholders and other interested
people information about the company’s activities and
financial performance. In doing so the designer must
take a large amount of information and create a com-
pelling visual presentation that is easy to read and di-
gest.
05 pRITI desIgN Co. | Trunk show postcard Announcement
priti design Co. is a high-end jewelry design company
specializing in the mystical world of diamonds and pre-
cious stones while focusing on exquisite craftmanship.
The goal was to create a postcard announcement that
made the jewelry the main focis while providing all the
necessary details in a clean and elegnat fashion repre-
sentative of both priti design Co. and Bloomingdale’s.

dr. jacqueline del Rosario is a top empowerment
speaker, marriage coach & counselor focused on teach-
ing people to have better marriages, live life better, and
recapture lost visions. Her media kit was designed to
cater to both men & women while maintaining a mod-
ern/contemporary feel.

For any event, presentation and branding is everything.
When The jeff johnson Institute decided to coordinate
the first ever, black alumni weekend at the University
of Toledo this was at the forefront of their minds. They
knew their branding materials would need to persuade
alumni to participate through a sleek and modern pre-
sentation with an air of professionalism.

Top Row: good design is good business. For com-panies and individuals, one of the most important representatives of their brand is their business card. For this reason I spent quite a bit of time creating
my personal business card. I wanted it to be cre-ative, clean and present interesting information about myself and how I think. Bottom Row: Impact is a d.C. based non-profit focused on connecting
young professionals in order to make an impact in the political arena. Their business card needed to be simple, clean, professional and patriotic.

Column 1: postcard mailer for Cowabunga designer
Ice Cream created to attract those planning a wedding
to purchase the ice cream for the event. The focus of
the design was to be feminine and elegant. Column 2:
postcard mailer for corporate and collegiate speaker,
Fenorris pearson. The postcard was designed to intro-
duce his new speaking topic and acquire speaking en-
gagements through an eye catching design.

l to R: (1) The “Marriage doctor”, dr. jacqueline del Rosario’s banner to highlight her website and book focused on pre-marital and marriage coaching. she has such a regal and authoratative look that I chose to
make her the focus of the banner while tying everything else together. (2) Former NBA star, eric snow requested a banner highlighting his new book and professional speaking services. (3) Impact hosts several annual events
a year for young professionals and needed a banner to display who they are, their mission and where to find them on the web.
