Deter criminal activity by promoting a strong and visible presence on HFHS properties

Lack of uniform means losing the presence of security as a deterrent

Greatly increased response time as assistance now comes from local police agencies

Based on the crime statistics gathered for each HFHS location, the answer is yes

Armed security is a necessity for any of these facilities due to the equipment, pharmaceuticals, cash details, and other high value property located at each medical center
