Summer Internship Hackathon
The Opportunity inQba'on Labs, a startup accelerator and incubator of dot com businesses, is offering a 6-‐week paid summer internship program for 5-‐10 students interested in developing their skills in agile web development and coding.

Internship Goals • Learn about Agile development, scrum, sprints • Define minimum viable product (MVP) • Define user stories, product backlog • Form into scrum teams • Rapidly prototype proof of concept • Launch app by end of internship
Preferred Skills • Basic understanding of front-‐end HTML/CSS • Basic understanding of back-‐end PHP/Python • Basic understanding of Photoshop • Ability to work as a member of a team • Ability to independently solve problems • Ability to self-‐start and self-‐organize
Timeline • 12 Feb – Applica'ons process begins • 01 Apr – Applica'on process ends • 15 Apr – Finalists selected, invited for interviews • 29 Apr – Teams are announced • 27 Jun – Internship begins • 05 Aug – Internship ends
Support Team inQba'on Labs will provide agile coaching, basic training in agile development, as-‐needed assistance and coaching with all aspects of the agile web development process. We will facilitate backlog development, daily scrums, weekly sprint planning and retrospec'ves, and coaching.
