What type of battery do you need?

Determining the right choice for your boat, motorcycle or RV

Starting power – moderate or heavy?

Moderate – motors of 100 horsepower or less

Heavy – motors greater than 100 horsepower

What type of power are you looking for?

Deep Cycle needs – none, moderate or heavy?

Moderate – radio, sonar, fish locator, running lights, 2 volt lights, etc.)

Heavy – trolling motor, refridgerator, portable TVs, inverters, multiple low drain devices,

etc.)

Note: Applications that contain multiple heavy drain devices will likely need multiple batteries

Flooded (or wet battery) – Most common lead acid battery. Comes in a variety of sizes and designs. Basic marine battery that often comes with a 12-month warranty

AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) – Uses a fiberglass-like separator to hold electrolyte in place. AGM batteries are bounce and vibration and resistant. More advanced than flooded - often come with a 24-month or 48-month warranty.

Starting, Deep Cycle or Dual Purpose?

X* - Those applications that require BOTH heavy starting and heavy deep cycle needs would require BOTH a starting battery and deep cycle battery.

Marine - If you have a smaller boat, with minimal applications, you may be able to use just one Starting battery. However, if you have many accessories, or a larger motor, you should consider a Dual Purpose battery. For any size boat, with heavy deep cycle needs, you should always consider using a Deep Cycle Battery

RV – Because of the nature of running multiple applications, RVs often use two batteries – a Starting (or Chassis Battery) and a Deep Cycle (or House Battery) used to operate the many electrical devices on board.

Motorcycle – Due to extreme vibration and the desire to avoid spilling electrolyte fluid onto a bike, most motorcycles use dry AGM batteries as opposed to wet flooded batteries.

Which is best for you?

Key Features of X2 Power AGM Marine Batteries: USA manufactured Advanced AGM (absorbed glass mat) construction – sealed,

no need to add water Spill-proof design – can be installed in any orientation

except inverted Low internal resistance – provides for very high discharge

and recharging rates Advanced 3-stage terminal design ensures leak-free operation Brass terminals provide maximum performance Housed in advanced engineered plastics – to withstand

vibration and heat from tough applications Pure virgin lead for longer shelf life, longer service life and a

higher-rate of efficiency Advanced manufacturing facility – employing state of the art

environmental control systems Limited 3 and 4 year full replacement warranty Approved as non-hazardous cargo for ground, sea and air

transport DOT 49CFR173.159(d), (i) and (ii) Boat owners demand two things from their on board power:

Is the only retail source for Xtreme flooded and X2 Power AGM batteries – they are all store activated, meaning they are totally “fresh” when they are placed on the store’s shelves.

1. Sure starts every time to get back to shore

2. Adequate power to run trolling motors and all other on-board accessories

X2Power Does the Job of Two Batteries: both a starting and dual cycle

X2Power batteries’ pure lead dual purpose design has the high cranking power needed to start boat motors and the cycling capabilities for running trolling motors and on-board accessories such as depth finders, fish finders, radios, radar, lights and coolers.

One X2Power battery does the job of separate starting and deep cycle batteries.

Marine & RV Batteries

The X2 Power™ Sealed AGM product line raises the standard for performance in even the most extreme conditions. Xtreme X2 batteries are constructed with pure calcium lead plates providing increased cranking power and a longer life.

X2 Power Sealed AGM batteries are sealed for increased convenience and safety. The sealed design is maintenance free and eliminates leakage. They also feature superior vibration resistance and extreme temperature tolerance

Motorcycle, ATV & Jet Ski Batteries

Battery Features:

• Maintenance free—sealed design eliminates leakage & need for maintenance.

• Lasts longer—superior vibration resistance & extreme temperature tolerance.

• Easy to install—top or front mounted with threaded terminals.• Compatible with any power sport charger.• Thin plate design creates high reserve capacity to run more

accessories.• Sustains charge in storage. Pure calcium lead plates self discharge

slower, lasting up to one year on an open circuit.• High performance—pure calcium lead plates offer increased cranking power & longer life.
