OUR OPERATIONS IN AUSTRALIA

Vermilion entered Australia in 2005, operating on the offshore Wandoo field located on

Australia's northwest shelf. Our offshore oil field is located ~80km off the coast in 55m water

depth. At Wandoo, Vermilion has horizontal well development with 21 producing well bores.

The wells are 600m below the sea bed with 500 to 3,000+ m horizontal lengths. Our operations

in Australia offer current production of approximately 6,500 boe/d and the opportunity to

maintain this production level for many years to come.
