Basically this refers to the means of interactions among people in which they create, share or exchange information using virtual networks. If you still have no idea on what social media is, the most popular social media site is the Facebook. But basically this is not only limited to social networks; there are still lots of things that a social media can cover. Now, let us continue. What is a customer service? Well from its word, this is a service that is done by employee for their customer. Basically it is a series of activities done by personnel to increase the level of customer satisfaction.

Are you familiar with twitter? Well basically this is a social networking wherein you can only post limited text. To be exact you can only post a maximum of 140 characters which is called tweets. This is also known as microblogging service that enables user to read and send tweets. As you can notice most websites are connected to their twitter, you can use twitter to solve different issues by sending tweets. How can this help? This actually lessens the hassle between the customer service representatives, instead of calling all thousands of customer to solve the issues he or she can just post it on twitter wherein the tweets can reach the entire fans.

Live chat can also be installed on every social media websites that can be in need of customer service. You might think that a call can be the best way to approach a customer, but there are actually people who are not comfortable of talking on the phone. Some prefer to have a chat instead of call; live chat can also give the customer service a opportunity to inform a customer to any updates or news about your product or service.

Basically in forums you can post any topic that you want and anyone that has joined the forum can reply or also post their own topic. Mostly people are posting in a forum about certain issues regarding the business or any concerns that needs to be fixed. Usually businesses are putting some guides and solution on the forum so that whenever a problem occurs, a customer can always look at the forum to check for possible solution for their problems.

Another is that he can also make use of the chat feature of Facebook to directly communicate with the customer. Since most people are on Facebook, they can easily gather all the fans and send message to them.
