    Social media marketing requires daily effort and involvement. This means it is

    definitely not a set it and forget it endeavor. The social media landscape is

    constantly changing, and what worked a year ago may not work today; this is

    why it is SO important to always be testing and trying new strategies. To help

    you with this, I have put together this list of 30 tips to improve your social

    media marketing!

    1. Incorporate images always, always, always. We know that images result

    in increased engagement and conversions. So use images in your posts

    whenever possible!

    2. When sharing videos on Facebook, use Facebooks native video uploader

    rather than YouTube for increased views and engagement on Facebook.

    3. Try a variety of content types, including links, long-form narratives,

    images, video, questions, etc. You never know what will work best with

    your audience until you try it!

    4. Schedule your social media posts: Use a tool like Hootsuite or Sprout

    Social to schedule your posts. Consistency is key with social media, and

    scheduling your posts can be a huge help.

    5. Analyze your Facebook Insights to see what types of posts result in the

    highest engagement with your audience. Once you have figured out what

    your audience likes, post more of it!

    7. Be authentic: Stand out from the competition by being honest, real and

    8. Make sure your profile photos represent your brand: This means no blurry

    or unfocused images, no group shots and please, no bathroom selfies!!!

    praises and help you grow your online presence!

    11. Stop being overly promotional: You can promote your services or

    products on social media, but do so sparingly. Social media is about

    Im all for images in all your blog posts! They work great for so many reasons:

    help people read easier and so they spend more time on your blog = great

    for SEO, they work great when people share your posts, and they are a must

    for Pinterest sharing.

    Hey Kim,

    This is a great list to improve your results with social media. Out of all of

    them I think numbers 9 and 19 are the most important.

    I found that my results have been getting better by just connecting with other

    bloggers of similar niches. I build rapport with them on social media, more

    so on twitter, and with this Im etched into their memory banks.

    Also you its also a great idea to leverage social media to generate

    subscribers and leads. Like they say, the money is in the list and what better

    way to utilize social media than to direct them to your opt in forms.
