• Frequency is important , what you do everyday is more important than what you do every once in awhile.

• Multi tasking 40% decline productivity

Find time and space to focus

• Develop focus time, Focus time block things off regularly, this is a acceptable reason to not respond immediately to disruptions, an hour at a time to tackle a task

• Early morning before others are awake works very well

• Remove temptations FB, email, kids keep the FB off, a temptation avoided still drains willpower

• Behavioral chains will form triggers and habits

• email & FB is like random reinforcement / gambling

• it takes energy to resist temptation it wanes throughout the day
