1. Establish appropriately detailed agenda
2. Circulate it in advance.
3. Ensure all participants are prepared
4. Save the time:– topics for discussion– presenter for each topic– time for each topic

Timing?
1. State that the meeting will begin at the scheduled time
2. Send a reminder e-mail
3. Ensure that you begin the meeting at the scheduled time
4. Intolerance for tardiness will set a behavioral standard for the group
