Objectives of Social Engineering Mission

To empower Community for participatory Water Resource Planning to fulfill the contemplated ayacut of LI Schemes and maximize output.

To develop and inculcate sustainable Water Management practices through participatory modules and capacity building exercises

To empower community for management, operation and maintenance of the schemes with an emphasis on social equity

To facilitate users participation in comprehensive management of LI Schemes.

Regular Water Tax being paid by Ayacutdars (as decided by the LI Society) & Corpus

System Operation i.e., Payments to pump operators, luskers etc., - Management

System Maintenance (Preventive and emergency), AMC & Insurance
