The SellerCenter is the platform by which you will be able to manage your assortment on Jumia Kenya and monitor and fulfill your orders

Go to www.sellercenter.jumia.co.ke and enter your log in details to come to your seller center account

48H Shipment: will be 100% as long as you ship your orders within 2 days.

Returns: refers to the percentage of returned orders from total orders you received.

Cancellation Rate: will be affected with every order you cancel it

2. Probation Period2. Probation Period

• What is the Probation Period? The Probation Period is your first 4 weeks as a Jumia Seller, using Seller Center

• What are the terms of the Probation Period? We will support you with managing your Seller Center account for this period, but by

the end of the 4 weeks we expect you to be developing into a mature seller, able to run and manage your Seller Center on your own

• When does the Probation Period Begin? When you have undertaken the Seller Center training When you have completed the Seller Center test When you have signed your contract

• When does the Probation Period End? The Probation Period lasts 4 weeks

• What happens at the end of the 4 weeks probation? If you are managing your Seller Center account well, then we If you are not managing you Seller Center account well,. then

• What is the objective of the Probation Period?- During the Probation Period seller should:• Become familiar with their Seller Center backend and be able to manage

and content quality.• Increase the number of assortment

Click on ‘Products’ on the upper left of the Home Page and select ‘Add Product’

2. Add/Create a Product2. Add/Create a ProductAdding a product is easy, but it is very important that you read this process carefully, and follow all the instructions laid out in the Seller Center Training

1. Select the main category for the product

3. Select the suitable sub category if necessary

2. Select the sub category for the product

Finally, press ‘select’

Enter Product Name:• Electronics- Model Number, variation

(memory), colour• Eg ‘Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, Dual Sim,

8GB, Android – White• Fashion- Colour and type

• Eg ‘Yellow Sleeveless Mini Dress with Laser Cut Detail

You can add a maximum of 3 different sub-categories for products to be located in by selecting ‘Add Category’

To get your products on the Jumia website as quickly as possible, it is important that you follow Jumia’s ‘Content Guidelines’ so that we can approve your uploads and customers can start to see your products!

YOU CAN ALWAYS REFER TO SIMILAR PRODUCTS THAT HAVE PASSED OUR QUALITY CHECK AND ARE ON THE JUMIA WEBSITE FOR GUIDELINES

Enter Brand Name:• Electronics – make/brand• Fashion – make/brand or

name of supplier

Select ‘Other Details’

Click - ‘Tax’ and select ‘default 16’ IF you can produce an ETR and ‘tax class 0’ if you cannot produce an ETR

Select ‘Measurements’ to enter the size and weight of the product (in Centimeters and Kilograms)

Select ‘Product Information’ to enter the colour and the main material

(See next slide for product description guidelines)

Select ‘Text Manufacturer’ to enter product certificates and warranty information

Select ‘Additional Product Information’ to enter product specifications

Once you are happy with the product information select ‘Submit All and Finish’

Do not enter anything into the delivery section. We will handle that!

Content must be clear, descriptive and grammatically correct

Product Description: • Make this clear and

Select ‘Product Pricing’Under variation enter any size variations that you have of the same product.

Write the SKU you have for theproduct to make it easier for your staff members to get the product quickly and prepare it for Packaging. If you do not have an SKU of your own write the Model Number. If one product has more than 1 Color, Write the Model Number plus the Color. Eg: “GH-3000-White”

Write the barcode if available

Enter the Quantity

Sale Price: if you want to make a discount on a product, write the sale price here.Sale Start Date: If you want the discount to be for a certain period, choose the Starting Date by clicking on the Calendar icon.Sale End Date: If you want the discount to be for a certain period, choose the End Date by clicking on the Calendar icon.

Select ‘Images’

Here you can upload up to 8 images from your computer by selecting ‘browse’

• Images must be in white background

• Images must be properly edited with clear visibility and good quality

• 1st photo Front facing• Fashion- shoes-side shot with shoe

facing left

• Images with watermarks are not allowed

• Images should be between 500x500 and 2000 x 2000 pixels The recommended amount of images must be uploaded depending on the category

Once you are happy with the product information select ‘Submit All and Finish’

Go to products and select ‘Manage Products’

Here you can change the price, sale price and stock

It is very important to make sure the stocks are always up to date

The products that are visible on the website are marked with a green tick and their names are written in an underlined blue color. If you click on the name, you will go to the product’s page on Jumia.

The invisible products are marked with an “x”. Click on the “x” Mark to know the reason. The reason will be also marked with an “x” Mark.

You can activate or deactivate any product at any time by dragging the slider button to: On = Active, Off = Inactive. This will help you if you have a problem with a product and you want to make it offline without removing the stock.

Click on the pen and you have the option to:• Edit Details• Manage Product Images• Delete Products

‘Export’: This will export all the products into a CSV file

‘Add’: You can also add products from here

You can search for any product by SKU or Name, to change its Price, Stock or Description quickly.

• All = All the products

• Live = These are the products which have passed our Quality Control and are Live on the Jumia website. These SKUs (products) will be written in blue and clicking on them will take you to their page on the website.

• Image missing = you have not uploaded sufficient images. You will have a Red notification for the new items in this filter.

• Poor Quality = These products are rejected in Quality Control. You will find the reason for rejection and any comments if available. If it was rejected due to description or highlights, you can click on the Pen Icon and choose Edit Details to change the description or highlights. You will have a Red notification for the new items in this filter.

• Sold Out = The products that have 0 Stock. You will have a Red notification for the new items in this filter.

• Inactive = The Products that are not online.

These options help you identify the status of the products you have added:

‘Stock Update’: A CSV file will be downloaded with all of the SKUs you have in stock

You can change the stock of all SKUs or just some of SKUs, and then upload the file as follows:1. Import Mode: Update Products 2. Select File3. Upload File

‘Price Update’: A CSV file will be downloaded with the prices of all of your SKUs

Reports > Sales Report

Orders:It shows the number of Orders in a chart comparing between 2 periods of time. You can decide the periods from the Filters available: This week, Last month, Last 2 months, or Last 3 months.

Sales:It shows the Sales in a chart comparing between 2 periods of time. You can decide the periods from the Filters available: This week, Last month, Last 2 months, Last 3 months.

Current Statement:It shows the Cash Flow such as: Opening Balance, Item Revenue, Refunds in a specific Date Range.

Your Profile:You can manage your profile from here. You can change your Name, Address or Email.

‘Add User’: You can add a User to help you manage your account. You Choose the role of the person and write his email address and then click ‘Save’. A link will be sent to this person with the User Name and Password. Usually you should have someone for "Seller Catalog Access" and another for "Seller Order Access".

After you add users, you will have a list of all users who has access to use your account with their roles.

You can change the role by selecting ‘Edit’ and delete any user by selecting ‘Delete’
