About the Project:
Work carried out by O’Brien
O’Brien Contractors were principal contractor on the flood alleviation scheme at the National Trust property, Coughton Court, Alcester.
The project involved bulk earthworks to form a swale, bridge construction and landscaping works to the heritage gardens, as well as removal and refurbishment of historic estate fencing and gates that surrounds the grade one listed property.
This project was O’Brien’s first site under the Considerate Constructors Scheme, it involved a large amount of interaction with the general public which proved extremely effective.
