Nuziveedu Seeds Inaugurates Delinting and Seed Processing Plant at Aurangabad

NSL Group’s flagship business Nuziveedu Seeds Limited, India’s largest seeds company, inaugurated the state-of-the-art delinting and seed processing plant at Harsul Sawangi near Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Honorable Agriculture Minister, Maharashtra inaugurated the plant.

The Aurangabad facility is an integrated Cotton delinting, processing and packaging plant spread across 24 acres. It is the most modern and largest processing plant in the Western region of the country. The new plant at Harsul Sawangi has cotton delinting capacity of 3 (Three) Tonnes of seeds per hour (TPH), and processing capacity of 9 (Nine) TPH. The new plant also has the storage space of 250000 sft and drying platforms of 35000 sft.

Talking about the new plant, our beloved Chairman Shri Mandava Prabhakar Rao said, “The new facility is the most modern in its nature with processing equipment imported from Greece and other European countries. The latest expansion will boost processing capacity to meet the marketing demand of Maharashtra and other states in central India. Nuziveedu Seeds has invested about Rs. 100 crores for the new plant at Harsul Sawangi.”

Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, also attended NSL’s cotton crop demonstration sown by using High Density Planting method in the region. Nuziveedu Seeds has been the foremost advocate of High Density Planting method which helps in increasing the cotton yields and thereby bringing more prosperity for the farmers.

“There is a need for the innovative farming methods to increase the yield of cotton. We are convinced with the encouraging results for High Density Planting of Cotton crop during Kharif season, where the yields can be increased by 50% compared to the conventional method of farming.” Our Chairman added.
