Some Nexans products are covered by green labeling.

Those approaches aim at fulfilling the growing “green” expectations from our markets around the world.

Depending on the label, those certifications take into account various criteria, among others:

Substitution of hazardous substances, Lower toxicity in case of fire, Support of cable recycling networks

Korea Eco-label

In 2009, Nexans Korea obtained the Korean Eco label for 5 flame retardant cables.

Singapore Green Building Council

Nexans is the first cablemanufacturer in the world toreceive the highly covetedSingapore Green BuildingCouncil certification for its building cables.

The certification covers cables for both commercial and residential buildings.

Green Building Council Australia & Nvlle-

Zélande

Nexans Olex complies with the “PVC Best Practice Guidelines” from the Green Building Council of Australia.

All Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) used in Nexans Olex manufactured cables follows this standard which aims to reduce the environmental and health impacts of PVC.
