November is National “Personal Protective Equipment Month” !
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is company provided for any job situation. Examples are
safety glasses for use where and when damage to the eyes could occur, hearing protection to prevent hearing loss, gloves
to prevent hand injuries, or back braces to prevent back strain and injury. In any case, use the PPE designed for the

International Environmental Standard. This EMS is in place to identify, address,
manage and improve the impact that our activities have on the environment through employee involvement and the setting and reviewing of environmental objectives and
goals.
Congratulations to all New Castle Employees.

customers who require the assurance of quality in products that have food contact usage. Brewton’s
SQF audit will be upcoming in a few weeks.
Although the number of reported H1N1 cases is declining, we wish to continually remind you of these tips for protection for yourself and your family.

Play it Safe This Holiday SeasonAlthough the Holiday Season is a festive and happy one, it is also a time for particular attention to be paid to prevent yourself from being a victim of crime. Follow these simple tips to avoid being a victim… Do not leave brightly wrapped packages in full view in your car, rather place packages in your trunk, not on the seat while away from your car.Protect your credit cards when used. Do not lay your card down when purchasing items where it can be seen. Some criminals are experts at memorizing account numbers and names in mere seconds.Park in shopping areas that are well lit. Likewise, be careful to use ATM’s that are well lit and in protected areas.
Play it Safe This Holiday SeasonDon’t put gifts under the tree in full view of a window, to deter burglars who could break in and steal gifts before the big day.
Do not put empty boxes out on the street advertising what you bought as it is common for burgers to attack homes knowing they have new bikes, electronics and other new large new items.
Parents also need to be aware that their kids may be vulnerable to theft at school if they go back to school with new phones and iPods and such. These items in a backpack can ad up to hundreds of dollars.
