DESCRIPTION
The meteoric rise of mobile devices has opened up the opportunity to get performance support to people wherever they are. This, more than the conversion of eLearning courses, is the future of mLearning. Mobile devices give us the capability to get the right content to the right person at the right time – at the moment of need. In this session, we will discuss principles and guidelines for designing a mobile performance support strategy that includes knowledge capture, content curation and delivery, integration of social content, and analytics. You’ll see case studies that illustrate how those principles have been implemented in a variety of organizations and discuss how they might apply to your organization. You will be able to: Describe the characteristics of effective mobile performance support. Indentify situations where mobile performance support would be of value in your organization Apply principles of mobile performance support design to your situation.
