ince the beginning, you have provided these refugees with supplies they need most to survive: food, clean water, medicine, blankets and more. This year, your support has been more vital than ever as the battles to take back Fallujah and Mosul from ISIS have caused some of the

largest displacements in modern history. In addition to relief supplies, you funded a mobile medical clinic that serves over 100 people a day, many who have just arrived from the frontlines of the war.

On a recent trip, our team met Sobeha, an elderly woman who was forced to flee Mosul and spent 60 days sleeping on the cold, hard ground. She could barely stand and had nowhere to turn for help. Then, because of you, she received a pair of crutches and was able to walk on her own for the first time in weeks. The joy on her face was indescribable!

Thank you for giving hope to refugees like Sobeha in these most uncertain times. Your unwavering kindness reminds them they are not forgotten.

REFUGEE RELIEF

orld Help has always been passionate about sponsorship; Kingdom Partners also cares deeply about helping children, which has made sponsorship one of our favorite ways to partner. Sponsorship is an incredible opportunity to transform the life of a child. Your giving

has provided these children with new hope and the knowledge that someone cares about them and believes in them. You made sure they have the food, water, medical care, and other basics they need to have a brighter future. One of these grateful children shared her story with our partner:

Marion was abandoned by her parents at a young age and has spent most of her life with her grandmother. Unfortunately, her grandmother does not value education. Marion’s future looked bleak until a pastor at a nearby children’s home heard her story. He came and encouraged her grandmother to allow Marion to enroll. Now in fifth grade, Marion dreams of becoming a teacher someday so that she can teach other children.

Stories like this are just snapshots of the difference you made by investing in the lives of these children. By giving them a chance to live a good life, you bring hope to their community as well. One day these children will transform their own villages because of the help they received through your generosity.

ecause of your support, the doctors at St. Luke’s Hospital have been able to treat more than 3,000 patients this year alone. Your gifts have proven the difference between life and death for children suffering from malnutrition and for those dealing with illnesses that would have

turned deadly if left untreated.

In addition, the Night of Hope benefit concert raised the rest of the funds needed to expand Kelly’s House, which will serve more than 250 special needs children, like Maria Irma:

Seven-year-old Maria Irma weighed a mere 15 pounds when she was brought to Kelly’s House. Years of malnutrition and untreated health problems had left her severely handicapped, unable to move her arms or her legs. But after three years of intensive therapy, Maria Irma is on her way to complete recovery. She is now a healthy weight, has regained mobility in her hands, and has even begun walking on her own. “Had we not gone looking for Maria Irma three years ago, sadly, she would be in a cemetery,” a staff member said. “We give the glory and honor to God and thanks to those who support Hope of Life’s extreme rescue program.”

Thank you for providing both physical healing and lasting hope for children like Maria Irma. Your generosity is literally saving lives each day.

his 6,400-square-foot, two-story facility will provide treatment to people living in areas where little or no medical care exists. The fully staffed clinic not only brings physical health to these men, women, and children, it also will help with disease prevention and improve public health overall.

Most importantly, the medical clinic opens doors into unreached villages to share the life-changing message of the Gospel — the only source of true and lasting healing. By serving the physical needs of these communities, you are providing tangible evidence of God’s love for those who may have felt forgotten.

Through your commitment to fundraising and faithful support, you are truly being the hands and feet of Jesus in broken communities. Thank you for your devotion to bringing healing to the “least of these” in rural Guatemala.

mother should never have to experience the pain of watching her sick child suffer while knowing she can do nothing to help. Yet every day, mothers in impoverished nations such as Haiti, Guatemala, and Uganda do just that. They can’t afford to travel to distant hospitals, and

when they try to comfort their children with contaminated water from local streams, it only makes them sicker. Sometimes, a mother becomes so desperate and scared she eventually abandons her child.

Two-year-old Aluckson was only 11 pounds when he arrived at Danita’s Children Rescue Center in Haiti — half the size of a healthy child his age. He couldn’t walk or even stand on his own, and there were many times when his family didn’t think he would make it through the night. But after a blood transfusion and two months of medical treatments and a healthy diet, Aluckson was smiling and laughing again. “We praise God for his recovery,” his nurse said. “Aluckson is a walking, breathing miracle.”

Because of your support, our partners were able to step into many of these hopeless situations in 2016 and bring healing to children who would have died otherwise.

epal may not be at the forefront of the news these days, but it is still at the forefront of your hearts. Your compassionate giving allowed our partners to continue the recovery and rebuilding after the earthquake in April 2015. Many people are still trying to restore their lives in the

aftermath, and your generosity is reminding them they have not been forgotten.

After a significant delay due to the blockade, construction on Grace Home is underway again and is scheduled to be completed in early 2017. Our partners in Nepal are grateful since they are eager for the children to be in the home once again. The end of the blockade was a huge encouragement to our partners and an incredible answer to prayer. We expect construction to be completed in Frebruary 2017 and ready for dedicaton by March 2017.

We are so thankful for your help in rebuilding Grace Home, which will be a renewed source of hope for the children and staff who have endured so much since the earthquake. It will bring a much-needed sense of normalcy back to chaotic lives. Thank you for supporting the work in Nepal and providing help and hope to the people there.

ue to your commitment to child sponsorship at Gilgal Children’s Home and Maru Asha Children’s Home, hundreds of children born into poverty-stricken communities now have access to nourishing meals, durable clothing, medical care, and quality education.

As an 8-year-old, she was already well acquainted with grief and loss. In the span of a few years, she lost her parents, an aunt, and her adopted father due to illness and the lack of medical care in her impoverished community.

But it was because of this she was taken to live at Gilgal Children’s Home where she finally received the love and care she’d never experienced. For the first time in her young life, all her needs were met in an environment saturated with the love of Christ.

“All my life I had wandered from one person to another, looking for someone to take care of me and never leave me,” Priscilla said. “I finally found Him — Jesus — and I know He will never leave me. I now have a future filled with hope for eternity.”

Priscilla is just one of hundreds of children who has come to understand her potential, her purpose, and her place in the kingdom of Christ as a result of your investment. Because of you, both physical and spiritual transformation are sweeping through remote India.

he sex industry has become an accepted practice in Thailand, and many women are taught it’s the only way to provide for themselves and their families. Your support provides them a way out.

Kingdom Partners’ investment in projects in Thailand is making an eternal difference in the largest hubs of the country’s sex industry. When a woman wants to escape this lifestyle, there are facilities where she can receive food, medical care, education, and spiritual counseling, all within a loving family atmosphere.

ne of the most effective tools for reaching a community is planting a church. During 2016, you helped World Help plant 4,381 new churches — translating into countless lives changed by the Gospel. Your investment in church planting is making an eternal impact that will touch

generations to come. You’ve directly influenced individuals like Puja:

Puja is a wife and mother of two children. She was a devoted Hindu who worshipped different gods and goddesses every day … but she realized her prayers for health and wisdom were not being answered.

Tired of unanswered prayers, Puja finally reached her breaking point and began searching for a true God who could give her peace and healing. Through a church you helped plant in her village in Nepal, Puja heard the Gospel and accepted Christ into her life. Today, her family regularly attends church and has peace from the one true, faithful God.

Thank you for providing believers with the opportunity to grow in their relationship with Christ, to worship and fellowship with other believers, and to learn more about God.

Five-year-old Akram* could hardly believe his ears when his teacher announced that a surprise visitor had come to bring gifts to his kindergarten class. Akram was only a toddler when his family fled from ISIS, so he had grown up in a refugee camp with only the most basic essentials. He couldn’t remember the last time he had received a gift. His eyes grew wide as he was handed his very own storybook Bible and started flipping through the brightly colored pages. As soon as school was over, he ran home, eager to share the story of Jesus with his family.
