Robert Kuhn,Senior Advisor

Current role: sustainability consultant to companies throughout the product supply chain.

Background: over a decade of corporate management experience and over seven years as a corporate attorney.

Affiliations: member of several professional associations and serves on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Stakeholder Advisory Group, the Institute for Supply Management’s Sustainability and Social Responsibility Committee and the External Advisory Board of Wesleyan University’s College of the Environment.

Education: Graduated from The Hotchkiss School (Lakeville,

CT), earned his B.A. degree cum laude from Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT) and obtained his J.D. from Georgetown University (Washington, DC).

Issue: Capture and Report Baseline Environmental DataApproach: Prepare value chain greenhouse gas emissions inventory in compliance with GHG Protocol Standard and receive third-party verification.Result: Baseline report indicates GHG “hotspots” in supply chain, allowing client to prioritize work; subsequent iterations of GHG inventory underway to refine and improve data accuracy, reliability and representativeness.
