Re: Application for a temporary building permit - Map 2, Lot 32

Dear Board Members,

Thank you once again for the two very fair hearings about the idea of a possible Town-ownedWind Farm at the top of Noble Ridge, our 812.58 acre tract of undeveloped land in Easton.

Since conflicts will prevent us from attending your next two meetings, please allow this letter toserve as our application for a temporary Building Permit of two year’s duration to erect a windmeasuring device on our property at a height of 150 feet.

Since we are aware that you cannot grant this request without approval of the Easton ZBA, wehereby enclose an Abutters List and a check payable to the Town of Easton for notices, etc. for$150.00.

We would respectfully request that the information meeting be called for the night of January 13(a Wednesday) and that as many townspeople be notified of it as possible. Please includerepresentatives of the surrounding towns and the press, as you deem fit.

After the public information session, the ZBA could meet to consider its decision on the matter.

We hope that if the ZBA decision is favorable, we can move to obtaining the Building Permit, anon-binding letter of support from your office and your consideration of the appointment of aCitizen Advisory Board to work with us on this project.

Please be in touch with any questions.

Sincerely yours,

George & Sara Foss

PS: I am in NH from Jan. 8 to 22; again from Feb. 12 to 19; and March 15 to March 31. If mypresence at Town Meeting is desired, I can change my 3rd trip from March 15 to March 9.
