Opening a resort is not a tough action. The matter arises that how you operate the climate of resort premises.
That is the “Hospitality” which takes a place for learning and making yourself for the staff members and serving
the people and give them happiness which is expecting by the guests. Here are some important factors for a
manager…
Should be well educated and make plans for operation:
As a manager of a resort you should have well educated in hotel management or a professional
course by which you will able to make plans and scenarios for operating the resort with your
co-workers. To be on the post of Manger should follow some factors:
Listen to your staff
Share knowledge which you learnt
Collaborate with staff members
Don’t show that you know everything
Motivate staffs
Be a great communicator
Behave with guests:
When the guests arrive at resort’s area or nearby then politely behave with them for their query
handling, registration, getting their rooms. Follow these things for handling the guests:
When guests arrived in front of you welcome them with pleasant smile.
Ask them for if they need something.
Listen to them and note carefully what they of service they want.
Try to keep eye on all guests and respond quickly.
Try to make guests comfortable and let them know about the room and place.
Give guests your full concentration and the best you can do with your quality.
Deliver Quality and service at time of dinning:
When guests get their rooms then ask for some foods or any refreshments and take order according to
their taste and also ask for where they are comfortable for this. Follow these things for better service:
Greet them with a pleasant smile.
Provide table for having meals.
Pleasantly ask for menu and take order according to their taste and touch.
Make quality atmosphere.
Serve in less time cleanly.
Avail facilities:
Guest come to resorts for holidays and you should avail all kind of facilities and extra offers for their
comfort and enjoyment that they can feel relax. Ask them for any special moment celebration or prior
time with their partner’s.
Organize celebration parties and events:
You must facilitate your guests that they can enjoy through dance, Adventure activities, in -door or out-
door sports etc.
Understand their needs: You must be available all the time to guests that they are comfortable or not and always ask them for
their needs and wishes.
Provide Memories: When guests are moving from holiday place at that time surprise them with some memories like- gifts,
Photos or any other.
