EMCI PRESENTATION / KNOWHOW EMCI has been recognised for more than 18 years in the demanding field of machine tool diagnostics from simpler to more complex machinery, fitted with the most commonly used digital controls (Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak, Num, Siemens, Power Automation, etc.). EMCI is an acknowledged master of machining centres, 3 to 5spindle mills, vertical and horizontal milling lathes, surface grinders and special numerically controlled machines. Different types of action are carried out according to standardised procedures: Measurements, diagnostics and signatures using a ballbar gauge process Calibration by laser interferometer of linear and rotating spindles Laser interferometer measurements of: Linear and circular spindle accuracy Accuracy of master/slave spindle accuracy Angular (pitch and yaw) Straightness (long and short distance) Dynamic Traditional geometry controls (square, rule, surface plate, electronic levels). EMCI has two vehicles for attending site, equipped with a ballbar gauge and laser interferometer that can make any measurement, plus geometry control tools (square, rule, surface plate, electronic levels). EMCI has developed the Optifive measuring system for measuring and calibrating 5spindle machine tools. With three sensors linked to a touch screen interface, the Optifive software provides information on the machine's accuracy and calculates new pivot point parameters (RTCP, TRAORI, TCP, etc.). It reduces checking times and calculates new machine accurate measurements. It is compatible with the most commonly used numeric controls. It is quick, simple and effective in use.

Depending on the models, these parameters are then modified in the numerical controller. Simple to use. The Optifive system can be used by the machine operator in a preventive way or prior to each machining operation on high added value parts.

NEWMAT PRESENTATION / KNOWHOW NEWMAT was created in 1976 with the objective of building assembly machines with modular ways, enabling scalable production with unchanged equipments. A wide range of pneumatic components, like axial and/or rotating transfer, interchangeable depending on the production’s characteristics such as trajectories, cycles or powers, is available in our technical brochure. The grippers ‘ISO Series’ meets the ISO 94091:2004 standards. For manipulators versions, the necessity of having clever grippers prompted NEWMAT R&D service to innovate, by proposing a patented solution in France and abroad. This solution enhances the security of persons and production machines. Its capabilities have earned it an Award in Mechatronics.

THE TECHNOLOGY PEOPLE HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTRES

NEW AND KEY PRODUCTS The VL 2 P represents a comprehensive solution to vertical turning. This vertical turning machine can handle workpieces of up to 100 mm diameter, completemachining them in two setups (using a variety of technologies, such as vertical turning, milling, drilling, ....). The machine is equipped with two workspindles working in pendulum mode, i.e. whilst the first spindle holds the workpiece during the machining process, the second spindle uses the pickup method to automatically load itself with rawparts. This ensures that the followon rawpart is always ready for vertical turning (machining). After completion of the vertical turning operation on the first component the turret swings (like a pendulum) to the second workspindle.

TPL VISION PRESENTATION / KNOWHOW Created in 2005, TPL Vision designs and manufactures led lighting solutions for cameras specialized in quality control. Equipped with TPL Vision’s lightings, machine visionsystems can then process any kind of industrial vision applications. All products developed by TPL Vision are designed with high powerful leds. These leds can generate very intense luminous fluxes, which enable a perfect visibility and reading of lighted areas. Even at remote places, TPL Vision’s led lightings help the cameras to lead a perfect quality control, or any other vision application in an efficient way. • Power and homogeneity of light • From infrared to ultraviolet, all the light spectrum nuances • Low power and optimized consumption • Longest lifetime by using LEDs from leading brands • Easy integration

NEW AND KEY PRODUCTS The new Plug & Light label, developed by TPL Vision, is both a quality charter for the company, and a reference for its customers. All products, labelled Plug & Light, gather some features that facilitate an easy setting and also an easy use. They benefit from the same quality of conception, are customizable with a certain number of options (color, lens, diffuser) and are perfectly compatible with industrial standards. This new label is part of TPL Vision’s will to make all its lightings work the same way. All lightings with the Plug & Light label can be installed without any prior setting. Equipped with just 3 wires (power, strobe, ground), the light can be plugged on a 24V power supply, and it automatically works, in continuous or strobe mode. All of them have M12 4 poles male connector, industrial standards in the automatism area.

NEW AND KEY PRODUCTS Eyesberg 3D by VISIO NERF, based on tested and reliable technology. The basic principle involves associating, in real time, a cluster of 3D points acquired by a vision PLCcontrolled laser scanner with the part’s surface CAD model. The software then requires only a small portion of the part (like the visible part of an iceberg) to identify and locate the part in the work area. Eyesberg® solutions can be combined on a single vision PLC (e.g. 3D identification/3D tracking, ED identification/3D measurement) in order to meet complex requirements using standard tools. Eyesberg® solutions have been researched and soughtafter in industrial sectors for many years as they allow supervision of the quality control process and offer significant gains in productivity.
