Finding a team is optional.
You can complete this
course individually.
However, people who
complete +Acumen
courses with a team tend to
have a more rewarding
experience and learn more.
Read on for tips to find a team.
Send an email to your friends or
coworkers. The most successful teams
meet in person. Taking a +Acumen
course together can be a great way
to reconnect with friends or work on a
project with colleagues.
Create a meet-up group. Use the
course to meet new friends. Check to
see if your city has a +Acumen
volunteer chapter or organize your
own meet-up by posting here.
Create a virtual group. If you are
dedicated and coordinated, you can
find 2-5 other people on the NovoEd
platform to meet with virtually using
Skype, Google hangout or another
online tool. Post here.
This is a self-facilitated
course. The people who
put the most into it, get the
most out of it.
All of the materials including
readings, videos, and
assignment guides are
available for you on the
platform. There are no live
sessions. If you need help,
post a question to the
forums. We’ll follow up, and your classmates will too!
