He has a rich experience of working with a number of companies. From 2001 to 2003, he was at Allstate Financial and World Financial Group where he sold financial securities and life insurance. After that, he also became licensed as a real estate agent and gained experience in residential and commercial real estate. Besides starting several of his own financial and real estate companies, he also worked with a large land development company as its President.

From 2003 to 2008, Barry Brooksby owned and operated iVest Capital, Inc. as the President and during this time, his job responsibilities were trust deed investments, mortgages, and private money lending. Barry co-founded Optical Financial in the year 2011. The company is based in Saint George, Utah and offers a wide range of services related to the financial industry.
