Migrations

• The Europeans who migrated to what is now called South America only stayed for a short period of time. After this they soon came to US or Canada then returned back home to Europe.

• Europeans motives for moving was in search of new economic stability. Jobs in the US were more viable and lucrative then the ones they had in Europe. Us was a booming new economy !

• There were a ton of new land and territory for cheep to make US a desired real estate destination.

The new land of the US• This vast expansion of the west provided

new territory to be bought and discovered. Chicago was the fastest growing city in the US of the late 19th century. This was a place where the sky scrapper and steel frame construction was invented.

• New technologies were discovered to provide this nation with the expansion tools it needed.

• This all lead to the industrial revolution• With all this construction Neoclassical

European artists were in demand to beautify the city and make functional art. This principle that was founded in Europe was now in the west.
