Company FoundersThe company founders are a husband and wife team named Victoria Gould and Tom Ivings.

Victoria, a local girl born and bred, initially trained at PricewaterhouseCoopers before working in corporate industry for 10 years.

Tom Ivings left Oxfordshire to qualify as a chartered accountant. Apart from accounting and tax support, Tom specialises in helping you capitalise on opportunities to grow your profits.

Patricia Pattison, FCCA, lived in sunny Jersey before setting up an accountancy practice in Scotland in 2000.

Since moving to Carterton Patricia has become a crucial member of our Apple Tree team being our longest standing manager.

Patricia is an Accounts Manager and has many talents including tax and all things payroll.

Mike Walters, ACCA, has recently joined the team following the completion of his exams in 2012 and prepares accounts and tax computations for our clients.

Mike enjoys playing golf on the weekend and often struggles to match the demands of his current handicap of 13.

Andrea Clarke, MCIPD, is Victoria’s sister and keeps the business in the family. She joined the team as HR Consultant in January 2013 and has 14 years experience in HR in the public and private sector and well as being a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

After graduating in 2005 she became a Chartered Member. She advises our clients on HR and employment matters, ranging from employee contracts and staff handbooks to performance management and more challenging areas of staff management.

Matt Duffin joined Apple Tree in the Autumn of 2013 after four years experience in practice, gaining a wide range of experience in all things accountancy.

Matt is currently part ACCA qualified, having successfully completed the AAT qualification in June 2011.

Rachel Cook is the newest member of the Apple Tree team, having joined in November 2013. Rachel will be providing office and payroll administration, as well as assisting with accounts preparation.

She comes from a small practice background and is midway through her accountancy studies.
