1. Watch your language.

What you say will be used against you in social media. Keep posts positive. Double check for spelling, grammar, etc. No brand bashing!

2. Think before you postabout client work.Consider all work confidential unless you are told otherwise by your manager and client. Remember, when you post on social, it’s public. Always assume that someone influential will see your post.

3. Proper client disclosure (cl)If you post about a client in any way – you MUST disclose that they are a client. You can disclose this by using (client) or (cl) in your post.

4. Client conflicts Assuming you can post about a client, double check with your manager to ensure that there isn’t a client conflict from another office.

5. Brands are like people; they are sensitive. Mentioning other brands might be sensitive and could have unforeseen consequences. Refrain from posting about other brands. Of course you can praise good work!
