ELEGANCE ANDSTRENGTHInnovative from the first glance, 2008 Crossover mergesthe elegant style of the Peugeot brand and the attitudeand strength of a modern SUV with a compact urbanvehicle.

The finely sculpted bonnet demonstrates protection andrefinement. The dynamic and elegant movement of thewing shows off its profile. A wave of roof emergesfrom above the back seats and features an exclusivedesign cut into the metal.

Then the eye rests on the rear of the vehicle, whichelegantly links the 2008’s strength with its dynamism.The large boot space, with low loading height, iscovered by a distinctive roof inspired by RCZ. The widetailgate is framed by lights, solidly set into thebodywork and fitted with three luminous claws whichare illuminated from behind by LEDs.

The precisely designed roof bars add the finishingtouches to the energy and fun of the 2008. The expanseof glazed surfaces and the large panoramic glass roof*promise a spacious interior which is open to itsenvironment.

Sand or snow, summer orwinter, 2008 adapts to the terrain and helps you overcomethe obstacles of the road. With its specific mud and snowtyres, Grip Control®* facilitates the movement of this two-wheel drive vehicle letting you escape on a relaxing drive.

On snow, mud or sand, the Grip Control dial lets youchoose the appropriate mode for the surface youencounter. There are five available modes:

COMFORT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS2008 innovates in the crossover world by adopting an interior architecture that makesdriving intuitive. Sitting comfortably, being at one with your car, you’ll discover naturalergonomics with a focus on safety. You can access all the information necessary fordriving and comfort without taking your eyes off the road.

SOUND AND CONNECTIONS ON BOARD From the Active level, the dashboard features a 7’’ touch screen conveniently located atyour fingertips. It allows you intuitive access to various functions: radio, hands-freeBluetooth®, music via USB or audio streaming, on-board trip computer, satellitenavigation*. You can also connect your digital music player, smartphone or USB. Onceconnected to the USB port, all information is displayed on the multifunction displayscreen and can be accessed using the controls on the steering wheel.

PARK ASSISTThanks to its automated technology, parking or leaving a space is no longer aconstraint. The Park Assist system assesses the size of space available to ensure that itfits the dimensions of your vehicle. Ultrasonic sensors and steering management takeover to manoeuvre in and out of the parking space for you. Acceleration, braking, gearchanges and use of the clutch in a manual transmission are left in your control. Duringentry and exit of the parking space, the system provides you with visual and audioinformation to ensure your safety.

SPACE ANDCONVENIENCE2008 Crossover provides exceptional interiors to ensureoptimal comfort. The rear passenger seats are generouslyproportioned and the parcel shelf has been designed with afront section that lifts, allowing access to the bootcompartment even when 2008 is in motion.

The boot has a low loading height of 60 cm and a brushedstainless steel protective lining*. The 1/3-2/3 modular backseats allow you to vary the boot volume from 360 dm3** toa flat floor of 1194 dm3**. Pressing the button at the top ofthe backrest is enough to tilt the back, allowing the seats tofold down automatically.

Five rails are set into the floor of 2008, running from theboot edge to the back seats, to facilitate the movement ofobjects in the load space. Six lashing eyes allow luggage tobe stowed away safely. Practical down to the finest detail,the boot has two storage areas on the sides, each with aretaining strap and a storage net.

CONSUMPTION AND EMISSIONSPeugeot uses its technological expertise to reduce the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of itsengines.

New generation 3-cylinder enginesThis generation of engine block allows a real improvement in terms of fuel consumption and CO2

emissions, while offering a good level of performance. The 1.2 e-VTi engine allows 2008 to offer apetrol engine with 99g CO2/km (1)*.

E-HDi and e-VTi Stop & Start technologyThe 2008 offers Stop & Start technology on diesel (e-HDi) and petrol (e-VTi*) engines. Quick,efficient and quiet, it limits fuel consumption and CO2 emissions at every opportunity thanks tothe engine stopping whenever the vehicle is stationary and restarting almost instantaneously andwithout vibration.

PEUGEOT CONNECT SOS

Peugeot Connect SOS is now in use in most major European countries, including the UK. It is technology that could prove vital in anemergency so, when every second counts, you can count on PEUGEOT CONNECT SOS* to act quickly.

Automatic emergency call: if the airbags inflate or the seat belt pretensioners are triggered, the vehicle automatically makes an emergencycall on behalf of the driver. PEUGEOT CONNECT SOS* then locates the vehicle, establishes telephone communication with its occupants andarranges for the appropriate emergency service to be dispatched. The telephone communication can be made in the vehicle owner’slanguage of origin.

Manual emergency call: whether the victim or the witness of an emergency situation (illness, attack), the driver is able to call PEUGEOTCONNECT SOS* quickly by pressing the SOS button located on the dashboard (for 3 seconds).

SAFETY

Braking and ESPAll versions of 2008 have a high level of active safety thanks to thepresence of the ESP control system. It consolidates the functions ofAnti Wheel-Lock (ABS), Traction Control (ASR), Electronic BrakeDistribution (EBV and CBC), Emergency Brake Assistance (EBA), Anti-Stall Engine (MSR) and Intelligent Traction Control*, which improvesthe handling of 2008 in difficult driving conditions.

Hill AssistThis system immobilises your vehicle for a short time (about 2 seconds)during a hill start, the time it takes for you to move from the brake pedalto the accelerator pedal.

Cornering fog lights**In low beam or high beam, this function allows thebeam of the front fog light to illuminate the inside of theturn, when the vehicle speed is below 25 mph (citydriving, winding roads...).

AirbagsIn the case of a collision, 6 airbags will protectoccupants: two front airbags, two side airbags and twocurtain airbags.
