Patterns are composed of 1 or more super-units, utilizing color contrasts/harmonies to create visually interesting design

Your task… -  Create 2 different, 5” x 5”, patterns that exhibit

complex, visually interesting interaction of super-units. -  Create 2 radically different color combinations for

each pattern, recalling concepts learned (7 Color Contrasts, Color Schemes, Color Interactions, Bezold Effect)

-  Explore repetition in large-scale pattern design by scanning your patterns and manipulating on Photoshop. Final patterns will be printed.

Your materials… -  Paper, Pencil -  Tracing Paper -  Color Aid Paper, glue -  Computer, Scanner & Photoshop
