SD Card, Memory Stick and External Hard Drive.

• SD Card: A type of memory card used in mobile phones and other portable devices.

• Memory Stick: A type of memory card which is in the form of a stick.

• External Hard Drive: Is a portable storage device that can be attached to a computer through a memory stick.

• To transfer pictures from an SD Card to a computer: Use the computer’s card slot. Wait for a window to appear and drag the image on to the desktop.

• Transfer pictures from computer to memory stick: Insert memory stick in the USB port, drag the photo from the desktop into the memory stick file that has appeared on the desktop.

Jpeg and Raw

• A Raw file is basically an image preserves most of the information from camera, such as sharpness and contrast, without processing and compressing. Raw format need to be converted to Jpeg which are more convenient for printing and sharing.
