Halloween Safety with the Sheriff’s Departmentby Jennifer Daugherty, New Hanover County Public LibraryOur library created a multi-media lab with a green screen, camera, and software such as Camtasia. Our local Sheriff’s department used the lab to make a public service announcement about Halloween safety. The lab can be “checked out” by patrons and also has the ability for them to make Skype calls.
