Submarine Builder Now Have Lots of Things to Do in

Goolwa, Adelaide

It is no secret that there are many things to do in Goolwa, Adelaide, and the rest of South Australia.

Thanks to SA's pristine beaches, breath-taking sceneries, and natural and man-made wonders,

there are indeed many activities you can enjoy in the region. However, it seems that being an

excellent playground for adventure seekers is not the only thing Adelaide is good at. It is also set to

host the nation's new fleet of submarines.

French company DCNS has reportedly secured a contract to build a new fleet of Australian

submarines in Adelaide, beating competitors from Germany and Japan. As part of the $50 billion

project, 12 submarines would be built in the city's Osborne shipyards. It is expected to create 2,800

jobs across the country.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull flew to the South Australian capital to officially announce the

project. He said this latest endeavour would make a significant contribution to the future of the

Australian economy. Labour’s defence spokesman Stephen Conroy, meanwhile, called the decision as a “real victory for the people of Adelaide” after three years of “fake promises” from the Liberal

Party.

According to the government, a huge majority of the project will be carried out in the South

Australian capital, but several components that are needed to build the submarines will be

sourced from other parts of the country and the United States.

With thousands of jobs the project will create, it could help turn around the lives of South

Australians looking for good employment. Now if you want to help the city and its inhabitants, you

don’t have to be a maker of submarines just to do so.

Just the simple act of supporting local businesses, visiting local tourists spots, and enjoying all the

fun things to do Adelaide has to offer allows you to contribute to the local economy.

Take learning how to surf as an example. You are helping a local business thrive because by signing up for surfing lessons, you are enabling a Goolwa or Adelaide surf school to earn some profits. At the same time, you are helping promote local tourism by showing how cool and enjoyable it is to surf in

one of South Australia’s gorgeous beaches.

Learning how to surf can also give you personal benefits. No matter how old you are, it can help

raise your self-confidence because it teaches you something new and helps you develop a skill that

not many people can pull off. It’s good for your health, too.

It allows you to enjoy the great outdoors, bask in the sun, and breathe fresh air. It also gives you a much-needed reprieve from the hustle and bustle of city life. And most importantly, learning how to surf can give your body the workout it needs to

stay in shape and function properly.

You can encourage your kids to learn how to surf, too. Not only does it discourages your kids from

staying indoors and playing video games all day, learning how to surf is one of the best things

to do Middleton if you want to encourage your children’s physical and mental development.
