Indian Railway is maintained under 16 Railway zones.Indian Railway is also the largest employer in India,

employing more than 1.6 million people. Indian railways uses four gauges BROAD GUAGE,

STANDERD GAUGE, METER GUAGE and NARROW GUAGE.

The Revenue for Indian railway for the year 2009-2010 was US$ 19.17billion.

Net operating income/profit for the same year was US$ 203.37 million.
