• In Asia, out of 3.8 bn population 114 crores use net (24% penetration)

• North America and Europe penetration 78% and 58% respectively.

• Hongkong (69%), Singapore 78%, Taiwan (70%), South Korea (81%) and Japan (79%) have more than 60 percent penetration

• India 8.4 percent. (around 10 crore users) - More growth expected due to broadband, 3G and mobile
