CARDIONICS S.A.

1969

Founded in 1969 by “Union Minière”

Our goal : To commercialize a diagnosis help software of the ECG

This software has been developed by IBM and medically validated by the Mt Sinaï

hospital (New York)

Use of a computer (IBM 370).

1969

The ECG are transferred by analog form, using classic telephone line, and are analyzed in Cardionics treatment

center (Brussels)

Software evolutions are made in collaboration with cardiologists and

university centers.

General presentation 5

CARDIONICS S.A.

Development of software

on micro-computers

ECG signal is taken from

any kind of ECG machine

and converted into digital

using a conversion board

(A/D).

General presentation 6

CARDIONICS S.A.

1988

Creation of an acquisition

board, placed in any kind

of PC

Using the same

acquisition device allows

many cardio exams.
