II.A leader’s most important asset is

PEOPLE’S SKILLS.

III.A good leader can lead various groups because leadership is

30 To answer this question, Jesussaid, "A man was going down theroad from Jerusalem to Jericho. Some robbers surrounded him, tore off his clothes, and beat him. Then they left him lying there onthe ground almost dead.

31 "It happened that a Jewish priestwas going down that road. Whenhe saw the man, he did not stop tohelp him. He walked away.

32 Next, a Levite came near. Hesaw the hurt man, but he wentaround him. He would not stop tohelp him either. He just walkedaway.

33 "Then a Samaritan man traveleddown that road. He came to theplace where the hurt man waslying. He saw the man and felt verysorry for him.

34 The Samaritan went to him andpoured olive oil and wine on hiswounds. Then he covered theman's wounds with cloth. TheSamaritan had a donkey. He putthe hurt man on his donkey, and hetook him to an inn. There he caredfor him.

35 The next day, the Samaritan tookout two silver coins and gave themto the man who worked at the inn.He said, 'Take care of this hurtman. If you spend more money onhim, I will pay it back to you when Icome again.'"

36 Then Jesus said, "Which one ofthese three men do you think wasreally a neighbor to the man whowas hurt by the robbers?"

37 The teacher of the law answered,"The one who helped him." Jesussaid, "Then you go and do thesame."

They used people.They manipulated others.

They saw the man as a VICTIM TO EXPLOIT

They were law keepers. They were pure.

They saw the man as a PROBLEM TO AVOID.

He was despised. He knew how it felt to be ignored.

He saw the man as aPERSON TO BE LOVED.
