Healing Herbs Nepal

Fall 2014 Update

Our pilot site is located in the southern portion of Nepal, in beautiful Bumahi.

Where there is low population density and rich soil –ideal conditions for cultivating high quality herbs.

Our partner farmers have been very busy …

Growing seedlings and getting them planted in the ground…

We are all very happy to see the first round of herbs in the ground and growing everyday.

The herbs continue to receive tender loving care from the farmers

And the results are very exciting!

Long Piper

Supports digestion and increases nutrient absorption, helps control coughs and asthma.

Serpentine

Helps reduce blood pressure and heal intestinal disorders.

Yacon plant – used as a low-glycemic sweetener that has proven to decrease weight and improve digestion

Amla

The berries from this plant are considered to be a powerful antioxidant, promote cellular regeneration, boost immunity, and support digestion.

Cultivation continues

We look forward to sending you our next update from Nepal when we harvest late spring of 2015

Many thanks for your support from our President, Dr. John Fagan

And all our partner farmers
