FISTULA ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA

This verse from ancient Ayurvedic text- Sushrut Samhita ( 1500 B.C ) states the fistula is caused due to tear, injury in the anal canal & rectum, Urinary bladder or vaginal area leads to formation of a fistula. In initial stages, when it is not open, it’s called “Pidika” ( Furuncle) but when it

burst outside and the pus starts oozing, it’s called “Bhagandara” (Fistula in Ano)
