Addressing Your Concerns… Regarding Construction

19

A majority of the construction operations will be on weekdays during normal daytime hours, generally 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Weekends will be utilized as make-up day due to weather. Flagging operations to a single lane will be performed to

place safety measures and equipment access. Nighttime operations will result in noise impacts. Notices will be distributed to email distribution list and

directly to fire, rescue, and school personnel. VDOT to send press releases for major traffic shifts. Speed limit will be reduced from 45 mph to 40 mph during

construction.
