The idea is to increase awareness about the deforestation and

the effects it has on our globe. We’ll be doing a WebGL

experience using Three.js and make a visual platform that

highlights how the world is changing this very moment.

But why trees?

Deforestation is one of the biggest threats to the

survival of our planet. Cutting down/burning trees

accounts for 10% of our current CO2 pollution into the

atmosphere.

Trees help us bring down the CO2 level.

Another drastic consequence of deforestation is that 50.000 plant, animal, and insect species go extinct every year!

The platform will allow people to donate a tree and choose where in the word their tree should be planted. Donors will be a part of a bigger cause and as “owners” of a single tree.Similar to kickstarter we will have a pledge goal that needs to be met before the trees are planted.Put more simply:— Donate a tree— Choose where it should be planted— Share the message to grow the forest
