This presentation uses triggers, motion paths and action buttons. Each slide shows a picture of cvc word made out of sounds from s, a, t, p, i, n, m and d. Children can listen to the sounds by clicking on the green buttons located beneath the corresponding sound. They can pick the letters/sounds they think make up the word one at a time by clicking on the letter (a bit like hangman but without penalties). When a letter is clicked it disappears – if it is in the word it will appear in one of the three curved rectangles by the picture. You can click on these curved rectangles, once the letter is revealed, and hear the sound again. There are ten words in total and, in order, they are man, pin, map, sit, pan, sad, tin, nap, dad and pat.
