Drilling Fluid Analyzer DFA-‐570
for con'nuous analysis of drilling muds.
Drilling Fluid Analyzer DFA-‐570
for con'nuous analysis of drilling muds.
DFA-‐570 allows to con9nuously monitor the following parameters of drilling muds in flow:
1. Density; 2. Salinity; 3. Oil Water cut; 4. Temperature; 5. Volume Flow Rate; 6. Mass Flow Rate; 7. Volume Total; 8. Mass Total.
The following meters are included in the system: 1. Water Phase Salinity Analyzer WPSA-‐50; 2. Coriolis Mass Flow meter DC-‐55.
LEMIS DFA-‐570
Water Phase Salinity Analyzer WPSA-‐50
For this task Density meter should fulfill the following criteria – work in-‐flow, capability to measure Density of complicated non-‐Newtonian liquids, resistance to ac'vity of abrasive solid par'cles (sand, clay, etc.), resistance to clogging up. In the given system we are using Coriolis Mass Flow Meter DC-‐55 to measure Density, Mass and Volume of the mixture. All meters are joined into one system with united soRware. All measured and calculated values are shown in program “VDC+” on the PC. Moreover, program “VDC+” allows to record all data that is linked to 'me for further review and analysis. SoRware also allows the user to create own set of data to receive maximum accuracy.
With the help of Drilling Fluid Analyzer DFA-‐570 4 different samples of drilling muds have been tested.
In table below are presented the received data of these liquids

The LEMIS Drilling Fluid Analyzer DFA-‐570 will be connected to a pump for con'nuous control of drilling fluid, situated right by the storage tank If necessary the system can have different addi'onal sensors (for example: pH, Conduc'vity, Viscosity, etc.)and installa'on for in-‐systems if required.
