When Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother in Victorian England, something terrible is waiting for her in London´s Downworld. Kidnapped by the Dark Sisters, she soon learns that she has the power to transform into another person. The Magister will do anything to claim Tessa´s power for his own. This is how se is drown into a Deep plot were Shadowhunters -warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons- and herself are in great danger.
WRITTEN DESCRIPTION
Tessa Gray has at last found safety with the Shadowhunters. But that safety proves fleeting when rouge forces in the Clave plot to see her protector, Charlotte, replaced as head of the Institute. With help of handsome, self-devoted Will and the fiercely devoted Jem, Tessa discovers that the Magister´s war on the Shadowhunters is deeply personal. Tessa finds her heart drawn more and more to Jem, though her longing for Will unsettles her.
WRITTEN DESCRIPTION
Tessa Gray should be happy –aren´t all brides happy? Yet as she prepares for her wedding a net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute. As they all work to save Tessa, she realizes that the only person who can save her is herself. But can a lone girl, even one who can command the power of angels, face down an entire army?

INTRODUCTIONWilliam Herondale is out in the dark, wet streets of London chasing and killing demons-just like he likes it- with his parabatai Jem Carstairs. Suddenly they come upon the dead body of a small girl who seems to have been killed by a Greater Demon. It seems unlikely that the demon would be killing in this areas so they report to Charlotte. What they don´t is that that murder would lead them to Tessa and a much bigger plot involving a war against Shadowhunters.
INTRODUCTIONTessa and Jem make their way to the Council Chamber because a very important meeting is taking place there. The most important Shadowhunters were gathering to discuss Charlotte´s keeping of the Institute since things weren´t going well. Benedict Lightwood was the one who had called the meeting. Things are looking terrible, specially between Will and Tessa.
INTRODUCTIONTessa is getting all the preparations for her wedding ready when Gabriel arrives with terrible news. His father has turned into an evil man-eating worm and is running loose. Everyone gets ready and go to find a masacre and information in Gabriel´s father´s study. It seems that the wedding might be running a little late or maybe won´t happen at all for a lot of things can happen when you least expect them.
