NITRA Nitra is a city in western Slovakia, situated at the foot of Zobor Mountain in the valley of the river Nitra.It is the fourth largest city in Slovakia.

Nitra is also one of the oldest cities in Slovakia. The first mention of Nitra dates back to 826.
The city has a wealth of historic structures and natural beauty in its surroundings. The most well known points of interest are the Nitra castle, the old town and the nearby hill, named Zobor, overlooking the city.
There is Agrokomplex Nitra which is an exhibition centre.
