Our school chose as its spiritual master a well-known Romanian writer, Liviu Rebreanu, who spent the last years of his life at Valea Mare, a place near our town.

The Opening Date of the New School Building: 24th October, 1980

On 1st of June 2004, when we celebrated “Children’s Day”, a new and modern

gym hall was put into use.

• an harmonious formation of the personality by a balanced development of students’ academic, social, physical, spiritual, and artistic competences;

• encouragement of the initiative and capacity to identify and use independently some information in a creative and responsible way;

• development of communication competences in an openly and expressive way.

• The administration of the school consists of a principal headmaster, an adjunct headmaster and a responsible for programs and educational projects.

• We also have 3 secretaries, a documentary, a computer, a library, a laboratory, a pediatrician, 2 nurses, a social worker, a speech therapist, a psychologist, 3 mechanics, 3 guards and 9 caregivers.

Our school is involved in about 300 e-Twinning projects, Think Quest, YRE, ECO projects and a multilateral Comenius project together partners from Malta, Poland, Lithuania and Italy, entitled “If you  want  to  see the beauty of  the  

world, first you have to find it in yourself”. We also take part in county and national projects in order to motivate our children and to improve their knowledge and skills.
