• The principal is Timothy Silk and used to have after school there but now after school is at Rhame Avenue School . Angelo Parisi

Bay Park First Ave

It was built in 1947 and has 96 acres. I have been there a dozen of times. My favorite thing to play is football with my friends. Andrew Calise

• 5 Star Gymnastics,21 Ryder Place, At Five Star I like to go to gymnastics. The coaches there are really nice. I go there every Thursday and Friday. I compete against many teams.

• Long Island Railroad, Ocean Avenue and Atlantic Avenue

• The Long Island Railroad is what my dad uses to get to work. I have been on the train many times, it is very fun . If you stand close, you can hear the horn BEAP really loudly . You have to be very careful so you don’t fall when you enter the train. By Briahna McConnell

• East Rockaway Post Office 10 Main Street. In 1869 the post office was created in the general store of the white cannon inn building. At first , mail was carried by stagecoach. The inside is pretty big even though it looks small in the outside. After several moves, the post office was moved to Main Street .I like going to the post office so I can help my mom. • Bethany Church 100 Main Street

• I go to Bethany Church for my Boy Scouts troop. Bethany Church is the biggest Church I ever been to. When I first joined boy scouts I got a tour of Bethany Church trust me its really big. Michael Watson

• East Rockaway Fire Department 464 Atlantic Ave. The fire department started in 1893 until now, 2014, that’s a long time. They will be knocking down Jack and Jill to add on to the fire department. I love to see how hard they work like when they leave during a party or a meal. This is why I love the East Rockaway Fire Department.

• Bay Park Field has a baseball field . A lot of people play sports there like football. I love bay park field because of the sports.

• WENDY’S makes OLD FASHIONED HAMBURGERS.

• Did you know that WENDY’S is now hiring people. Rikki Caracciolo

• East Rockaway Library,477 Atlantic Avenue

• At the East Rockaway Library, people go there to read books and do homework. I love the East Rockaway Library. I think it’s the best place ever and I love their books. One of my favorite books is Santa’s Suit. I like that book because it has different textures. I also like the librarians there the best. Gianna Manos

• Warden’s Deli 60 Main Street Warden’s has great food. When they gave me my bagel, I felt like I wanted it again. They sell bagels, bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches, and pasta. Natalia Wilkerson

• Grist Mill ,Woods Avenue Did you know that the Grist Mill is a 300 year old building ? It also contains artifacts from the Native Americans to the 19th Century. It’s open 1 -5 Saturday and Sunday beginning of June until Labor Day. It was once a grist Mill, used to grind corn grown on surrounding farms and is now a museum. Michael O’Hagan

• CVS 98 Main Street and 488 Ocean Avenue. They sell shampoo, medicine, toys ,and arts-crafts. They have food there, too. I like CVS because they have toys. Emma Pyle

• Carvel,436 Atlantic Avenue

• I think Carvel serves wonderful treats. The people who work there are very kind. They have a wide variety of toppings that makes your ice cream even better!

• East Rockaway High School,443 Ocean Avenue The school has red lockers. Every year they have Rock Rivalry . It is a very big school . It goes to grades 7-12. Patrick Mielinis

• Villa Maria, 81 Main Street.

• It is my favorite place to eat pizza at. Their Italian ices are really good. My favorite ice is the rainbow one. The employees are really nice to you and say “Hello, how are you doing?” Ciara Irvine

• Path Mark, 492 Atlantic Avenue When I go to Path Mark, it’s convenient. I find all the food and supplies I need. The employees are very nice.

• White Cannon, Ocean Ave, New waterfront. The White Cannon was popular in the 1840s and 1850s. My family and I went there and took a picture of me. Then they took a picture of my brothers. After I pretended to fire a ball out of it.

• Chase Bank, 111 Main Street. At this place people get money. Did you know you can get lollipops? Last Christmas I got candy canes. The place is enormous. Giuseppe Monteverde

• Jeannie’s Bakery.56 Main Street. Did you know that they have Christmas cookies when its near Christmas and all other holiday cookies! Also you con pick out your birthday cakes there. Kelly O’Connor

• Hewlett Point Beach, 130 Hewlett Point Ave.

• People mostly come to swim in the pool. I love that you can cool off in the pool. I like that there is a snack bar and you can eat lunch.

• Rolling River Day Camp,477 Ocean Ave

• Rolling River is a place were kids come during summer.Every year we have color war blue vs white. Kelly goes to my camp. I love camp because it is so fun. Hannah Seideman

• Rhame Avenue School, 100 Rhame Avenue

• The school grades go from K-6. I go to this school. It was built in 1926. The school had a fire in 1986 and was rebuilt.This is my fourth year here. The principal is Laura Guggino. This an elementary school. Patrick McLaughlin.
