What Is an ECV Summer Backyard Gathering?
An Hour-long Worship Gathering for Kids & Adults
For ECVers, neighbors, new folks; followers of Jesus and the spiritually curious
A way for us to gather during COVID-19 that’s wise, replicable, and flexible to changing conditions
Overall, 8 ~25 person services happening throughout the Greater New Haven area
A space that uses social distance, mask wearing, cleaning practices, and common sense to mitigate the
spread of COVID-19
Welcome & Worship Bible Study/Teaching Response & Prayer
What Is an ECV Summer Backyard Gathering?
Greeting by kids and adults
Two family friendly songs
Opening prayer
Scripture read or acted out
OIA (Observation, interpretation, application)
Discovery Bible study
Corporate listening prayer with kids and adults
Corporate intercessory prayer
Spirit-led Prayer ministry
Closing worship & prayer
For the length of the service, there will be an arts station and encouragement station for any kid…or grown-up who would be blessed by them.
As you think about which group you want to join, check in with the contact
for the group you’d like to attend!
This will help them prepare for the right # of people.

ECV Summer Backyard Gatherings start next
Sunday, 6/28! For the foreseeable future, we will still have a
recorded service available at 4pm for anyone who cannot join us in the backyard for whatever reason. If we’re rained out any future Sunday, our plan will
always be to go back to our livestream for that week. Pray with us as we start this new season
of being together!
